Type of Product: Nanocrystalline Silver Mesh Dressing 

Use: For wounds with small to moderate amount of exudate. For all wound types, including burns and under NPWT. Use for 3 Days

Frequency of Dressing Change: 

Acticoat 3 can be left in place up to three days. 

Note: Do not use with NS (suggest sterile water).

Caution:

Will discolor tissues (grey)

Do not use silver products when client is undergoing MRI examination or during radiation therapy. 

Avoid putting electrodes or conductive gels in contact with silver products.  

Protect from light once opened. 

Do not use silver combination with oil-based products such as petrolatum or paraffin. 

Do no use for clients with a known sensitivity or allergy to silver or polyester. 

Do not apply dressing to exposed internal organs.
